About me

 who are you .

My name is Poppy and im 17 years old and i live in London and im a cat lover who lives in a flat with a family of 5 . I have 2 sisters and i have my own camera , which i saved up for for 2 years to get on my 15th birthday. I am jewish and used to go to JFS , but i decided to do a level 3 BTEC in creative media at Stanmore collage because i am better at coursework projects, rather then sitting long exams in a stuffy room, which is a harder environment to concentrate in, in my opinion. Ive always preferred more creative subjects , rather then more brainy academic subjects such as science and math. 

why media?

I picked creative media because of the photography aspect of it and also the film aspect. I was also interested to develop my skills in the media industry and get a better understanding of web design, graphic design and usage of a camera in a professional way and how to properly use it . Im exited to learn new things related to creative media and get out my comfort zone , while doing something im passionate about and developing my skills to greater depths . 

Interests?

I am interested in doing a variety of different photography projects for fun in my spare time and i also am interested in scrapbooking events that happen throughout my life and making collages of photos and editing them on my phone and creating a mirrored effect of landscape buildings. I also like to play badminton when i have time and i like watching cartoons and sci-fi movies quite often. I also like to do creative writing in my spare time because i find it relaxing and it makes me think of unique and crazy ideas that flow through my mind and i put it into a story expressing my feelings , in a detailed descriptive way . I do want to read more to develop my creative imagination to new heights and use that in my creative writing stories that i write, for fun.

What you want to do in the future?

In the future, i would like to do something in the creative media industry which involves photography and journalism , so preferably i would like to do photojournalism when i grow up. If that doesn't work then i would like to be a professional events photographer for either weddings or architectural  photography.
